Ok. I'm coming back to reality! But it's not easy going, after camping, amusement park, pools, beach, hotel and a solo 3 hour car trip with three active children, I'm ready to drop! What is it about being out of your routine that makes us so unbalanced? Well, I haven't lifted weights, gone running or sat down to write out my meal plans or workouts. It's vacation-sort of. I have managed to take a break from my "home" responsibilities but added almost double the family ones. It's been so fun hanging out with the kids and letting them run until they dropped. They made friends, told ghost stories and even went body boarding. It was a wonderful break, and I'm ready for more normalcy. But wait- isn't there a holiday coming up?
And, yes, we DID go to McDonalds. But I survived. I had a large black coffee and a turkey sausage and egg white bowl- hold the (nasty) cheese.
So I'm starting a complete detox on Tuesday, July 5th. I've done it twice before and it was amazing, I'm excited to get ready for this again. This week I will spend getting organized, grocery shop and write out my meal plans. I will share, don't worry! As well as my updates throughout the 28 day journey.
But where does that leave me for the next 6 days? I will start phasing out many things from my diet and adjusting my cravings while hydrating and building up my lifting weight.
I'm excited to get started!!! But in the meantime I'm not going to blow my balance. Or so I hope. 😂😀lets keep it fun and realistic.
